Home (nearly)
Our wonderfully exhausting weekend in London came to an end this morning, and we headed back up to Scotland in the lovely new (old) car. Long, long, long journey. We stopped at noon for a break, and found ourselves a country park in Skelmersdale to have a picnic and walk in. The first car park we tried was... well let's just say it wasn't quite for us, with a very particular clientele, so we headed off instead to the main car park which was decided more family-friendly.
This, the only shot I managed all day, is the view from the top of the park.
Finally made it home, quick dinner and then a long snooze in front of a movie for me, before a very blustery and wakeful night listening to the house creak and groan in the gale force winds.
