Marks epic bike ride

Whilst me and Max headed off in the car to Ballater to buy a picnic and await Marks arrival, Mark decided to bike over the Lecht via two very steep hills to get there under his own steam. He had thought he would be getting a lift back, however, as we were settling down for a picnic I asked if he would be wanting to lock his bike up. His nervous and clearly annoyed response went something like "Well I had thought I would be putting the bike in the car and getting a lift back actually". Being a personal trainer I have learned how easy it is to push men in to doing more exercise - simply never sound impressed by their already impressive achievements and they will 99% of the time decide to do more to impress the weaker sex. And that is what he did. Full of steak pie, sandwiches and crisps back he went over the Lecht back to Tomintoul. Secretly I was impressed - but clearly I can't tell him that!
