Wild and Windy

Sadly not a new experience. Winds once again raging with rain falling horizontally for the best part of the day. You wouldn't put a dog out in that.

Most of the women in the office appeared to be sporting this autumn's new look in hairstlyes. Yes you have guessed it - windswept and interesting.

We did ponder on the futility of the time spent in front of the mirror each morning, straightening, primping and preening in order to achieve this dishevelled look. Cat who travels on a mix of foot and public transport is seriously considering simply applying shampoo as she leaves the house. We reckon she would end up with the same nett effect!

With desperation, I blipped late afternoon. At that point the wind was down to simply gusty and the rain back to pouring rather than torrential! From the safety of my office there is not that much to blip without getting blown away. You might note that the cloud is so low it is obscuring the top of the rig!
