This was taken this morning before the rain reached us. Perhaps not an original subject for a blip, but a seasonal one! This tree is right next to the back of the house, so close the branches reach almost to the window. It struck me this morning that the leaves seem to be disappearing more quickly than the berries - a result of last night's winds - definitley a sign autumn is on its way.

I had a midwife appointment this afternoon. I'm finding that with having a lively toddler around I'm hardly paying any attention to this pregnancy, so it was lovely to lie still for a moment and listen to the baby's heartbeat :)
