Cosmic Design

These mugs were designed and made by a small ceramics company called Cosmic Design that we spotted at a design show a few years ago. J talked to them about stocking some of their products as a sideline in his showroom and arranged a visit to their factory. Unfortunately, we turned up just as they were being served with an immediate eviction notice :( In the circumstances they were actually very happy for us to take as many goods as we could carry for a guessed-at cash price.

In the event, J couldn't bear to part with any of it, in spite of someone literally begging him for a coffee set he had on display, so some of the ware is displayed in his showroom and a selection at home, including this striking set of mugs.
