The Power of Three!

This was the only photo I had time to take today (on a rushed walk with the dog) and therefore it is my (rather uninspired...but I quite like it) blip!

Today we had our un-anniversary!

Yes I know it's odd to have an un-anniversary but there is history to this.

On our very first anniversary I pulled out all the stops...cooked a romantic meal with ingredients sourced from all over the place and Bob got in from work and the look on his face told me he'd totally forgotten!

On our second anniversary he pulled out all the stops...cooked me a romantic meal and gave me food poisoning!

On our third anniversary we went away...the car engine blew up...the garage took pity on our story and lent us a car which broke down...there was a bomb scare at the hotel we were staying at in Manchester and we got caught in traffic on the way home.

So from then on we didn't celebrate our anniversary...we go out on either side of it instead...and tonight we went out for a wonderful meal and child-free chat and it was gooooooood :-)
