...years before I find him crashed out on the sofa like this after a night on the town with his mates?

Poor old Noodles...he'e been lost without his big brother today. It was H's first day back at school and Noah has been playing with lego and periodically asking, 'Where's Henry?'

He refused a nap after lunch and insisted on watching Tractor Tom. He lasted five minutes then keeled over.

He was soooo delighted when we went to pick H up. They've played together all evening :-)

H is really happy with his new class teacher for year 4...she's the music teacher for the school. He was a bit shocked how strict she is but seemed to see this as a good thing over all.

He's feeling really good because their first assignment tonight was to prep a 'What I did in my summer holidays' piece to be completed tomorrow. H feels his summer holiday diary, complete with photos, fits the prep bill very nicely and I agree. So he's spent the evening making friendship bracelets for his two best friends instead.
