Back to school :(

Not a particularly exciting blip but it sums up today's feelings and activities. Back to work tomorrow and it's not just children who like shiny new things at the beginning of term - teachers do too! I'm not really sure what I shall be doing yet but I have 10 hours working mainly with the new junior infants, in particular a little girl with autism. I shall also be working with two older boys, both with Aspergers, getting them ready for secondary school. And I've been asked to do a large mural on one of the school walls - nothing if not varied.
Appropriately enough, the weather has now broken - grey, humid and lashing.
