Planning the Itinerary

First day of our holiday. The sun was shining, it was hot and we had our very own swimming pool! So far I was liking being on holiday very much. Mum and Dad mentioned beaches a few times, and I was desperate to build sandcastles, so I decided that I had better check out the guide book. Turns out there was a market on in Pollenca, so that was our first stop. After buying food for dinner, we sat down to have a drink. I spotted the strawberries in Mum's bag and helped myself to a good few of them. I sat up at the table like a big girl!

In the afternoon we took a trip to Port de Pollenca to visit the beach. I fell asleep on the way there and stayed sleeping even on the way to the beach. I lay on Mum's legs for about half an hour! When I woke up, I sat in my tent and built sandcastles, which I have talked about doing incessantly. But there was a problem. Mum had forgotten my swimshoes and I didn't like having sand on my feet. I even put my feet up on Mum's legs to keep them away from the sand! Dad bought us ice lollies. I devoured my lime Callipo and then had a go at Dad's Twister as well. When we left the beach I was being very moany, but then I saw a little boy moaning and crying at his mummy. My Mum told me that's what I sounded like, so I stopped. We went to a beachside cafe to have some dinner. There were some rides next to it, including a Mickey Mouse car. I climbed in and asked Mickey to sing the Hot Dog Song for me, but he didn't answer. It's okay though, I'll just ask Mum and Dad to put it on in the car over and over and over again!
