Windy Today

The day after the earthquake, and still getting aftershocks, one earlier this afternoon measured 5.0 which is nasty. However, we here are just fine, but our friends in ChCh and closeby are far from fine. It will be a long process to rebuilt peoples lives and homes....we are thinking of you all.

Woke this morning to a impending nor-wester (wind) and noted a nor-west arch....this is my blip today, taken from our garden.

Best part of the day has been spent in the garden and mowing the lawns....it looks as if someone lives here again!!

This has been some weekend that has shattered many lives, but the Kiwi spirit will come to fore.
