Misters

As I have often stated since arriving here in the desert of Palm Springs, CA, it is hot most of the time. The temperature topped 100ºF before noon today - like it has almost every day since we arrived two weeks ago. We, however, found ourselves outside enjoying live music and libations during the hottest part of the day thanks to the misters positioned around the Las Casuelas Terraza patio.

At every restaurant up and down Palm Canyon Drive misters were beckoning to those brave enough to venture outside any air conditioned space. Misters, a much more cost effective way to make the intense heat of the desert more bearable.
