Beach Crowds

I was wondering where everyone was while playing volleyball this morning. We only had two courts of fours going and the rest of the beach was pretty empty also. When we later visited Seal Beach (to see the big waves that we had been reading about) we found the crowds we had expected - all under the careful watch of the local lifeguards. There were no big waves, but the people seemed to be enjoying themselves nonetheless on this last weekend of summer vacation.
