Testing .... Testing

I have downloaded a picture editing programme so that I can (hopefully) upload Blips as I go along on my holiday.

Unfortunately it does not read my RAW files so I will need to remember to take at least one picture a day using my 'walk around' camera ..... the Lumix GF1 (which I will need to prise out of SWMBO's hands). Then I need to hope that connection on the boat will be good enough to upload.

So this is the test shot - the only one I took in jpeg format today.



We set off at lunchtime today and headed to Rotherham where we are staying overnight with No1 sons girlfriend (cheep bed & breakfast and all that).

On route we stopped off to see
Chippy where I rather took a fancy to some beautiful wooden boxes he has made ........ note to self - stop off at his workshop on the way home.

We then headed along to see Clickychick and 'The Man' at her shop.
Needless to say SWMBO bought a nice piece of jewelry to go with a dress she bought for the holiday ...... good for her.

Great to see the three of them again.

Well - better go now and try to be polite with our hostess (who served up a lovely bit of salmon and a well needed cup of tea).
