Nice Ending

Up at the crack of dawn and off to the airport to collect a hire car - then pick up a friend/travelling companion and head off to Syke.

We stopped at the Green Welly at Tyndrum for a coffee and a roll and as we got out of the car we were greated with shouts of abuse from the occupants of another car which had just turned in ............. 4 of the others who were coming up for the wedding.

5 minutes later we were joined by the bride, groom and bridesman (yes - that is right).

Not bad for groups who had set off seperately from Malvern, Manchester and Livingston.

Even better when who should walk in but the local cop in full uniform who had also been invited but is unable to get time off.

So basically, all the group who were the original wedding party and who had got to know each other through an online photo club had met at a location without any kind of prior arrangement ............... spooky.

From there we played leapfrog all the way uo the where we are staying on Skye and the cars loads stopped to take pictures at various locations.

We stopped at GLEN COE first........... yep - it got rather damp.

Then it was at The Well Of The 7 Heads where I took my Blip followed by a FIELD OF MINATURE CAIRNS .......... very strange and surreal.

Our last magor stop was at EILEAN DONAN CASTLE where the wedding will take place on Tuesday.
It is not an easy place to get an unusual angle of such an iconic place.

Now, after a fair few whiskies........... I am heading to my bed.
