Classic Edinburgh at Night

I've never done this shot at night before, done it at every other time of day but not at night, until tonight. Very quiet up on Calton at that time, dark too, you'd think it would be better lit.

Anyway, this is a 1 minute and something exposure, hard to get a constant exposure over the frame with the monument so dark and still some light in the sky, the new filters will help with that when they finally arrive.

This same shot has been good to me, 1 winter sunset on the Flickr front page and the sunset shot the other night hit number 20 in flckr explore today as well.
