40th Birthday Blip

Yep, I'm 40 today. Officially past it and on the decline. So, instead of drinking myself senseless, which seems to take less and less these days I was standing out in the rain taking this shot of the bridge to keep my blipping average up. This is a 110s exposure of the Rail Bridge. I started out doing this with a ND filter attached but realised I'd be up around 8 minute exposures, ok on a nice night but not in the rain!

Bought a full square filter system today, 3 ND's, 3 ND grads, 2 filter holders, circular polariser, infra red filter, 77mm screw in polariser and tomorrow, hopefully ordering a Sigma 10-20mm lens. Not all bad being 40 I suppose.
