Mount Maunganui

I woke up this morning in Tauranga. I looked out the french doors of my hotel room and watched the rowing eights glide across the bay. The temperature was in the low thirties (celsius to the North American readers). It was 6:45AM. I finished my business by mid day and drove a couple of kilometres to Mt Maunganui - I'd never been there before. Wow, what a spot!

After a quick bite, I drove to Rotorua for more business, followed by dinner at a Turkish cafe and a few beers. It's a tough life. Flying back to Christchurch tomorrow. Potentially yet another shot out an aeroplane window!
