Blackberry

I'd far rather have this type of blackberry than the smart-phone!

Its been years since I've really paid any attention to wild fruit whilst out walking, so it must be this blipping lark that's making me more appreciative of whats around us and in season. Either that or I'm just getting older and more countrified ;)

Took this shot on the way into work today, stopping on one of the back roads to get some shots in the bag as had a feeling i would be home late (which i was).

Glad i did, as its turned out pretty well, and has inspired me to go foraging at the weekend with the kids for some blackberries to go with the apples were growing.

Got a hot tip (followup comment) from another blipper yesterday on somewhere local that encourages visitors to take their apples so hopefully even more free food and opportunities for blips...
