Early Morning Edu-tainment...

I'd had an eye on this field for a couple of weeks as a potential blipspot. Noticed yesterday that the farmers in the area were starting the harvest so generally they all start and finish in about a week. Blink and you miss. Luckily this one just up the road wasn't started so posed a wee morning constitutional.

We learned how separate the wheat from the chaff and have a couple of dishes soaking the resultant kernels. We also learned how farmers make their living, so we tread very carefully and only took a couple of stalks.

Have you ever been to a soft play centre? It's brilliant watching them scurrying up and down the various obstacles like a bunch of hamsters. Behavioural point of note, I'm here with Bethany at one of her nursery friend's birthday. One of the kids must have put their entrance stickers on their wrists as the trend spread out like a wee virus among the rest of the party-cipants.
