athena

This little silver token has been with me since 1992, when I won it on a school trip to Greece for writing the best diary. I have carried it to every exam I've done- the owl represents Athena, Goddess of Wisdom- for luck, and it now accompanies me everywhere in my purse. I'm not generally superstitious- although I've always done pretty well in exams- but I like that it's always with me, and has been for 18 years.
