The Breakers

"The Breakers is the grandest of Newport's summer "cottages" and a symbol of the Vanderbilt family's social and financial preeminence in turn of the century America." :)

Didn't go and visit this one though, had a free ticket for any but this one, visited the Marble House.

Also cycled the whole Ocean Drive together with another person staying at the hostel. We also visited the Sweet Berry Farm and had an icecream and fresh strawberries there. Great! :D

Then our hostess drove us to Jamestown and we, with another hosteller, had an icecream there and a nice diner. Tonight we do the guided tour of Newport with our hostess. Looking forward to more, it is lovely here!
