On the Road

Summer has reached it's full maturity in my part of the world. Even the annual plants are at their adult growth. Flowers, for the most part, are over for the year and now is the time of seed production so that next growing season will be full as well.

This was taken on the road to see my 95 year old Aunt Mary. She's a wonderful old lady whose mind is as sharp as it has ever been. She broke her leg a few years ago and her gout flairs up occasionally so her physical well being is not as good as one would wish. But she still cooks, cleans, and walks well around the house.

I very much look forward to visiting with her; it's always a good time.
