A Shorter Shillelagh

Missy Ann purchased an Irish Shillelagh a few weeks ago. She finds the use of a cane to be more stabilizing than walking without one.

However, the tip at the floor end was metal and that made for a slippery base, especially on a tile floor. The shillelagh was also a little too long and forced her to use it in an uncomfortable style. By cutting off the metal tip and replacing it with a rubber tip we solved both problems at once.
