Going Nuts About Nuthatches!

The moving in process well and truely behind us, today was the first day we could truely enjoy the new house.
Those of you new to knowing me won't know I am a mad keen birder, a hobby I discovered in the past 12 months. I bought myself a dSLR and a zoom lens, and hide in reed beds taking pictures of various wildfowl. On twitter I post a #dailyduck if you want to search the hashtag for some of these.
But there is a woodland bird that makes my heart melt, and that is the Nuthatch. It has becoming more used to us now a week after moving in. Scarce visits have no multiplied to three or four visits a day!
The Nuthatch always makes me think of it as the Kingfisher of the Woodlands.
I just wanted to share my first semi decent picture of it, taken thru patio doors. There will be better ones to come when I can hide out in the garden shed! ;o)
