I won't go into exactly what happened this morning, but to cut a long story short I ended up changing my plans and going to Rob's instead of going to a sailing club event with Emily.
Getting to Rob's involved getting a lift from Tilly's to Norwich Train Station with Emily's Mum, a 20 minute walk into the centre of Norwich, with Oonagh, a trip to Starbucks, a 5 minute walk to the Bus Station, a 40 minute bus ride to Buxton, a 5 minute car ride home (to give a message to my aunty) and finally a 15 minute car ride to Rob's house. It took me over 2 hours to travel about... 20 miles? Also bear in mind that I had also been awake for over 24 hours and hadn't eaten for over 12 hours, it wasn't fun.
I spent the day at Rob's, not doing very much. We mostly watched TV or sat in his room, but it was still a rather perfect day. I was exhausted and by the time my parent's came to colect me I had nodded off several times.
As I'm now not going to see Rob for ANOTHER week (he's working, I'm going to Wiltshire to see MORE family) he gave me his usual collection of strange items to 'remember him by'! Today it was a blue rubber duck that flashed when you pressed the bottom, a piece of wood, 3 CD's and a camera tripod (which was actually quite useful!)...
Once I had been picked up I was eager to get home as I had 3 GCSE results waiting for me. I'm actually taking my GCSE's nexxt year but each of these reuslts counts for 25% of the GCSE in that subject. It was the 3 sciences, and I really had no idea how well I'd done...
Finally I had the chance to open them, and it was done with great trepidation... I got 3 A*s, and am therefore INCREDIBLY happy!
Bye Blip!
