A week at Rhiw Goch: Taliesin at Cei Mawr

Wednesday's morning view out of the "office window". 1999 Single Fairlie - Taliesin - with 10:15 service from Blaenau Ffestiniog to Porthmadog crossing Cei Mawr - the 60 foot high dry stone embankment.

Taliesin was built in the railway workshops at Boston Lodge, entering service in 1999. Depending on your point of view it is a new locomotive, or a rebuild (a few parts from the previous Single Fairlie to bear the name still exist and were incorporated.
