Today was the day Charlotte's been waiting for for years. The day her Wendy house was built. Now before you think ill of us, it's just been a matter of timing with the completion.

The house was given to Charlotte after the Childhood and Costume Museum closed down as she always loved playing in the 'Little Red Riding Hood's House'. But at the time, the garden wasn't ready for it.

This summer, we promised to get it done, and we did (we meaning Michael ... ). The house was put together with a bit of help from owners of very good power tools in about 3 hours. Charlotte was out for the day but as soon as she got home she RAN out the back to see it and we haven't really seen her since!

I personally thought the Welcome mat was a nice touch. :)
