Elizabethan Collar

Poor Scout had his neuter today...and you can see it on his face in this blip photo as he wears this pitiful Elizabethan Collar :( He also had 2 of his dew claws removed, the ones on his hind legs as well as a micro-chip. What a long day for the poor puppy.

Picture day was today for Landon and Liam so they were happy to have 'free dress' day, but we ended up getting out of the door late this morning when I told them it was more important to get in the car on time than worry about which video games they were taking in the car for the 5 minute drive! Boys!

Liam got out of school excitedly telling me that he was the only one in his class who got an 100% on his math test. Teacher gave him a book mark and a sticker. When I told her I may have 'mathletes' on my hands...she said 'That's great, maybe someday they can do your taxes for you' :D I'm so proud of my boy.

Landon had his first trial full-day of kindergarten. He and one other kiddo stayed until 3 with the teacher. He had fun staying in the class later than usual playing some computer math games and spent some time with the teacher on an assessment. She is as concerned as I am on his retention. I'm hoping they will do further evaluation and pull him out for extra help during the school day. When he got in the van he had quite a meltdown...so it will take some getting used to when his full days staying until 3 every day start on Sept. 7th. His tiredness made homework interesting....so much so that I videotaped it with my cell phone today.

I stayed home with Landon and pup while Gary took Loren and Liam to soccer. A great way to catch up on my blip journal :) Wingstop tonight! Yay!
