Bubbles

Yet another day when I forgot to Blip (it's gone midnight and I only took this an hour ago)...

Today we woke up to beautiful sunshine and a completely clear blue sky, so everyone's first thought was to get down to the beach and swim...

However, in the usual pandemonium of getting 10 people and a dog fed, clothed, washed and out of the house we ended up being down there rather late. By this time clouds were beginning to gather and as it got colder we were all beginning to resent the idea of a swim.

Spotting a gap of blue between two clouds I grabbed my opportunity, took advantage of the 5 minutes of sunshine, and raced into the sea. It was freezing. By the time the sun had gone back in, I was definitely ready to come out and I made my way back to the beach hut dripping and shivering.

A cup of coffee later and I felt better enough for a trip up to the town where we visited the supermarket and the camera shop (which sold an odd mixture of cameras, books, greetings cards and an odd assortment of gifts).

I have been using my analogue camera all day so when it came to getting into bed this evening (having walked round some art galleries, been back to the beach twice, played tennis, made Queen's pudding, had two long phone conversations and eaten a large meal) I didn't really look forward to the prospect of having to find a photo, or risk missing a day...

It was my cousin and sister who suggested a photo using the bubble mixture, and I am reasonably pleased with this one which shows Gina, my cousin.

Well, it's now half midnight on Thursday, and I reckon I need my energy to actually take some photos for tomorrow...

Night Blip...
