Gone!
That's what the kids said when they first noticed the lack of baby swings at the local playpark.
It's a bit of a nuisance since the queue for the normal swings has now doubled and it means for the smaller people only very gentle swinging. The hope is that they will return soon restored. Or was it teenagers playing a prank? I don't mind them using the playground as a meeting place in the evening but I do object to broken glass left lying around on the ground. Especially since I like to be barefoot and so do my kids.
This morning went to swimming really early - why on earth did I register L for 8am? and A for 8.30? It's ok now but when it's dark in the morning this walk will not be a nice one. Today it was ok though and it was nice to walk along the really quiet streets with a child on each hand, it doesn't happen that often.
After swimming a quick coffee/breakfast was in order and then off to see Hairy Maclary at the Fringe. This was fabulous and I clapped and stamped and pretended to be a dog as much as all the children around me. Then to the bookfestival where they did crafts and we later had lunch and then enjoyed the sunshine around Albert on his horse.
Playground to round it all off. Now some last preparations for L's party tomorrow. Let's hope the weather is ok tomorrow, wellies are a must anyway.
