Exploring Morning Glory
It's not easy to get anything in focus when you are squatting at a strange angle, balancing a purse, a camera bag and worrying about getting to work late again. Oh well, I was happy to do the manual focus trick and find different angles and tones in this morning glory in a stranger's garden.
It sort of suits my mood at the moment, happy because I went out to dinner with two friends I haven't seen in a while and our friendship is fine (I worry about these things), happy because I had a good day at work, happy because, well....just because.
We went to a Bangladeshi restaurant and tried the Isfar plate -- special food that people eat to break the fast at Ramadan. It was very good - flaky flatbreads stuffed with spiced lentils, a blackish chickpea curry eaten with crunchy popped rice, battered and fried eggplant....next week we will try a different country.
PS For those of you who wanted to see the goldenrod picture that I pulled, I put it in my blipfolio. Goldenrod
