Childhood Memory

These leaves remind me of my mom. She had a black blouse with a pattern of orangy gold flowers and leaves that I loved when I was little. I thought it was so beautiful and sophisticated and seeing this takes me right back to being a 6 year old girl admiring my stylish mother.

I had a pleasantly uneventful day and struggled played with Photoshop a little bit more tonight.

I now know how to create an adjustment layer, although I only know how to do fills -- I don't know how to adjust anything yet. The colour of these leaves is basically untouched but the concrete background is gone. If only it were that simple to make concrete disappear for real!
