I really wanted to try and get a portrait photo tonight. Although, every photo i tried didn't come out the way i wanted and after a significant amount of time i started to get edgy.

I had the idea of mounting the flash gun behind me with a black background, in order to create a a light ring round my head / torso. Unfortunately i didn't have the black background and so nothing was really working out.

So i settled to taking a quick snap with heavy photoshop work. I am not at all happy with the result and i dont think it justified what i was trying to do. Maybe next time.
