Arklow North Beach
Yesterday I posted a small scene at the Southern tip of our most Northerly Beach. This won out over a general view of the strand, but today I feel like showing you the entire thing, so back I went to shoot it this morning. The sunshine was wonderful so having shot the picture, and a few others as well, I threw down a blanket and took the sun while reading a photography book.
One thing to note. This beach is only 400 metres from a large caravan park but can only be approached by clambering over a few rocks. The people in the caravans are too lazy to do this and keep to their own side of the rocks where the sand really isn't very nice. Note the number of people on this beach. None, as you can see. I was the only one there. Had the whole place to myself. This is the norm. It must be the least populated fine sandy beach in Ireland. Long may it remain so.
