Camping: Day 8
Camping Day 8. Our last morning in the tent. I awake to find my husband busy. Too busy for my tastes. All I want to do is roll around and stretch and catch a few more zzzzz's. I hear him outside of the tent. He is waiting. Waiting for me to get up so that we can take our tent down, pack up camp and win the contest of fastest packers. Now do you think that I really care much about winning that contest??? No. But.....we did win and it did feel victorious. So now I can thank him for the fastest packer title.
Heading home with over 200 photos of good good memories. I would have easily had three times as many put I was trying to conserve (I only brought one memory stick) so the photos I came home with were keepers. We got our annual group on the last day. I forgot the tripod so the tree stump worked just fine. We got the beautiful mountain in the background and it's the fifth group photo to add to the mix.
Home sweet home. But oh what a trip. One of the best trips ever!
