A bit of a misunderstanding ...

So today Tina and I took ourselves off to St. Andrews, university town and home of golf, just bimbling along, enjoying the buildings and meandering paths, and winding up at the harbour.

The tide was out, the waters shallow, and there was the sound of a fight going on below. These two birds were have a barney and a half over something. Really getting physical.

I said to Tina, 'well I've never seen gulls attacking each other like that before.' To which she replied, 'I have on a Saturday night in Salisbury.' There followed a pregnant pause before I replied, 'I said gulls, not girls...'
