River Rescue Training on the River Tay

Spent a few hours in the glorious sun, wandering arund the Highland games on South Inch watching the running, the dancing, the pipers, the big and beefy hammer throwers, and talking to a piper who had a 'a very strokable sporran' (Tina's words, not mine).

Walking back to North Inch we watched the local fire-brigade practice their river rescue techniques in what was the lowest level for the river in many years according to one of the firemen.

Spent the rest of the afternoon just watching the world go by on the North Inch path... loverly!
