Up on the 45th parallel

This is the Old Mission Point Lighthouse. Located at the end of Mission Point Peninsula, the lighthouse is no longer functioning but is preserved as a piece of history.

Touring throughout the peninsula, we came across our first hops, our first vineyard, and a sign for the two mile long worms.

Traverse City is rehabbing an old mental institution and parts of it were a sight to behold. The renovated buildings contain retail stores and restaurants, and condominiums. Could you live there?
