Bowers Harbor Vineyard

A vineyard tour that also included much wine tasting and appetizers made for a very fine visit. At this same vineyard last year, the grapes were much further along (see links below).

Bowers Harbor sits on Old Mission Peninsula that juts into the Grand Traverse Bay in Northern Michigan, dividing the bay into two arms. It's a lovely part of the state that is hugely popular in the summer. For those who are fond of snowmobiling and skiing, and a lot of snow, the Traverse City area is also a tourist destination in the winter. We visit in the summer.
