Brotherhood/Sisterhood
Since it's the last month of summer, I've been really trying to have as much fun as possible. My calendar on my desk is starting to get full of stuff, which is great! But unfortunately, that leaves a lot less time to get myself to write my college essays...hmm.
Today I went to my friend's birthday party. It was lots of fun with lots of food! In the middle I left for church and then went back afterward until late. I've been having a lot of late blips lately.
Anyway, this picture is of the hill again. There's always a beautiful sunset, different every time, and today there was a double rainbow! The silhouettes are of the junior boys' small group sitting at the top of the hill. Today was the last day of small group with the current leaders before they leave for college. It must be bittersweet to see them go after knowing them all throughout high school. Nevertheless, we have grown together as brothers and sisters.
I thought I took too many sunset pictures but I really loved the clouds in this one. My alternate is at an earlier hour with someone standing dignified at the top of the hill. Silhouettes are cool in that they can say so much even though they're so simple.
