My son was invited to a wedding today of one of his oldest school friends. It was at our church so we went to the service and sat at the back.

We could see this view through the porch door. The bridesmaids are waiting for the bride and her father. The girl in the wheelchair is Katie and is the groom's younger sister. She was born with a condition which left her unable to see so this was a very special day for her as well as her brother and parents.

The theme was green and cream - I love the way the wheelchair has been decorated to match - and amazingly, for the first time this week, it didn't rain!
