Sleepy Cherryblossom

Pleasance Press

We had a yummy leisurely breakfast at Monpeliers followed by an even more leisurely wander down to the Parliament (by way of the Grassmarket and lots of antique and brick-a-brac stalls......I may possibly now have a milk jug to add to my mismatched china teaset!) to see the World Press Photo exhibition. It's well worth a visit, there are some amazing photographs and some really shocking and upsetting images too. Makes you realise how lucky and priviledged we are to live where we do.

We had some ice cream and then hung out at the Pleasance for a bit, just having a cider and people watching (and celeb spotting, well, if you count Frank Skinner, John Bishop and someone I thought bore a slight resemblence to Bill Bailey, but wasn't....) before heading into town for some sushi. There's a new place opened up on Hanover St recently, Yes Sushi, and its v tasty indeed. Not quite as good a Sushiya at Haymarket but bigger and much easier to get a seat at the moment!

I've backblipped yesterday.
