Mags and I had a fab day of shopping and festival wandering topped off by two great shows - Jason Byrne and Alan Cumming - both of which were fantastic.

Jason is always good, this is the seventh year in a row that I've been to see him and he never disapoints. While he didn't make me laugh so hard that I could no longer breathe this time, he was still hilarious and I definitely wiped away a tear or two during his family slide show.

Alan was......just......utterly brilliant! I can't praise enough, Maggie and I even think it's possibly the best show we've ever seen! He sang lovely songs and told lovely stories and was just the most lovely and engaging person. Did you get that it was all lovely? ;O)
