Roydon

Today was the day of my Stepgrans funeral.

My sister had got the sleeper down to London overnight, My hubbie drove to the station at Harlow to pick her up and brought her back to our accommodation for a few hours, before we headed over to Roydon for the service.

The 2 ministers who took the service both knew her very well, so the service really had a personal touch about it. Although it was a very sad day, on a positive note, we did get to meet up with family members that we don't see very often. It always seems to be the way at funerals and weddings!

After the wake in the local pub, we drove to a friends house in Hemel Hempstead, as we're staying the night with her tonight.
