Stormy Weather
In a break from the wonderful world of plasterboard, I took the kids to the beach playground. I busied myself with a few shots of the clouds, beach, power station, etc, while they played. This weather looked quite ominous, but was far away. The weather off to the left was worse, and rapidly approaching.
We were caught in a tropical downpour on the way home - rivers suddenly appearing where previously there had been road. Everyone who passed was terribly cheery, even stopping to share our woefully inadequate tree shelter for a chat.
That, and a 30 minute power-walk to Sainsburys in the evening, was the extent of my breaks from work (that Mr B is real slave-driver), hence the need for backblipping:

The plasterboard is all up, filled, taped and plastered. And we will never ever ever box off an arch-shape again. Now just sanding, cleaning, painting, painting again and curtain hanging and we can finally get the scaffolding out of our bedroom.
