Alleyway

I found an alley with amazing graffiti today. Although I was late for an "important" meeting I had to stop. I was on time for the meeting but lunch had to wait. I suffer for my art :)

This is my son's favourite. I couldn't decide. And this is the 3rd version I've posted. Either they are all good or I'm just addled. Probably the last.

So I've been wondering what it is inside us that compels us to capture what we see? To draw, to decorate, to make our mark? Is there any difference between the cave art from the Ice Age and today's back alleys? I wonder this when I see every unguarded surface covered in paint and scribbles!
