Storms River

It was wonderful to wake up to the sound of the ocean and then open the curtains to see it in all its glory with a fantastic blue sky too. We are having some fantastic weather considering its winter!

R and M went off for a walk whilst I enjoyed a slower pace for the first time in nearly 2 weeks. The few days leading up to us coming away and then the last 10 days have been a bit hectic so a day by the sea with my camera was my idea of heaven... albeit M did not agree and I get the feeling... well I know she didn't agree with my choice for the day. However it was perfect for me and I enjoyed it! It was a wonderful time of solitude! I sometimes think M forgets R and I work for a living and therefore when we actually have the chance to stop... we don't need to run around at 90 miles an hour and actually sitting and enjoying the surroundings isn't actually a crime its appreciation! M for what ever reason has to do something, she can't sit down and that's fine... but we're not all the same!

I am at my happiest when I am by the sea... probably why I love diving! I find the ocean very therapeutic and relaxing.

When R and M returned, R and I took the opportunity to use the facilities to do some washing... drying it was a bit of a challenge the dryers weren't too brilliant but at least we had clean clothes again! I now know I didn't over pack as I first feared!

R and I also got the opportunity to have a meal out on our own at the restaurant which was nice.

Tomorrow we head to Stanford near to Gansbaii
