Dassie

After a bit of shopping and money changing (the South Africans have had an issue with their R200 notes and we needed to get the ones we had got from the UK checked to see if they were the new legal tender!) left Port Elizabeth and travelled down to Storms River Mouth National Park part of Tsitsikamma. We're staying in a log cabin which has wonderful views of the ocean... R and I can have a cup of tea in bed with a wonderful view! Spectacular! I will save a photo of the ocean for tomorrow as I thought I would share this photo of a Dassie. This little fella was playing with me big time for the camera and I really enjoyed my time photographing him (or her!)... he was peeping out of his hidey hole for this one!

R did a wonderful Braai whilst the sun went down! It was a close call between R doing the braai with an ocean view and sunset and the Dassie... the Dassie as you can see won.

M not feeling to. well her throat and vocal chords are not good... something that has been troubling her before coming out here and will be seeing the ENT specialist in September. Things are very quiet! ;-)
