Jock - The Jack Russell

What a fantastic day it has been, warm sun and blue skies. Washing done, lots of gardening attended too, and dogs taken on 2 runs.
Jock - as promised - he is 11 years old, and is off a farm, used to rounding up sheep and cattle, and always running alongside the farm vehicles. He runs so fast. But about 3 months ago he became sick and was taken to the vet, where they found he had cracked teeth, and others that had to be removed, and he had abcess's. All was fixed up, but he also has an enlarged heart, and his owners are quite fearful something may happen to him while they are away, so he has been left in our care. You cannot stop him running, but he is not competing against machinery anymore. I took him across the park by myself to see of I could have him fetch a ball, and photograph him while running, but it was a hard job, either the sun was in the wrong place, or he would run straight to me of course, or otherwise he lost interest in the ball all together. However this photo does show him running and almost got the ball.
