got to be different

there's always one isn't there? the whole bush has gone to seed and this wee flower has just noticed that it's nearly missed the summer bus and should get on with flowering. poor daft thing.

or maybe it's just thinking outside of the box, daring to be different, not caring about what its peers think and doing its own thing?

or maybe it's just a buddelia flower and I'm making too much of it? :-)
